You are invited to go to France with Madame Hansen!

If you are a new family at Seattle Lutheran High School, you may not have heard about our trip to France. 18 students have already signed up for this trip which is scheduled during our Spring break 2009. Our itinerary will take us through the north-west region of France, starting in Versailles through the Loire Valley, Bretagne, Normandy and finishing in Paris, The City of Light.

Our “Tour de France” is an educational trip with a focus on the culture, language, history and art of France. All grades are welcome. Knowledge of the French language is not necessary. Prior to our departure however, I will teach some basic French for travelers and impart a few cultural tips.

If you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity for your student, please visit seattlutheran.org on the web and click on “Tour de France” or email me at dhansen@seattlelutheran.org

For those families that have already signed up, we will have a parent and traveler meeting towards the end of September to start planning and discuss logistics. Stay tuned! There will be more updates.
