Lion’s Heart Volume I: Meredith Zandi

I thought I should submit something that I really like, and also something I thought everyone would enjoy.  This is an essay I wrote when I was a senior in high school, and it is one of my favorite things I have ever written.  The heading says “English 101” because it was a writing class that was offered at my school through South Seattle Community College.  The assignment was to write a compare/contrast essay about anything we wanted.  You can see my final draft here.  Please don’t make too much fun of me for my spelling mistakes.

 

Meredith Zandi has been teaching English and Drama at Seattle Lutheran for seven years.  In her early life,  she watched a lot of old Disney and Warner Brothers cartoons.  She received a BFA in Theatre from Pacific Lutheran University, and a Masters in Teaching from Seattle University.  When not grading papers, Mrs. Zandi enjoys reading, watching movies, tap dancing, and hanging out with her husband.
