Congratulations to Jeff Jensen ’88 who co-wrote Tomorrowland which opens in theaters around the nation, including the Admiral Theater, this Friday, May 22.

After graduating from SLHS, Jeff attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he  developed a passion for writing. He worked for Advertising Age and currently writes and works for Entertainment Weekly. Jeff is the author of the 2011 graphic novel, Green River Killer: A True Detective Story and the prose novel, Before Tomorrowland, a prequel to the film, released on April 7, 2015.

Tomorrowland is a film by Disney Pictures starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie; it is directed by Brad Bird. Four years after beginning work with Damon Lindelof (co-creator of LOST) on an idea for the film, their idea comes to life as this film.

Again, congratulations to Jeff on this exciting accomplishment!
