Bye Bye Birdie

Seattle Lutheran High School is proud to present the classic musical Bye Bye Birdie. In the 1950’s, teen-heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted into the Army. In order to get themselves out of debt, his managers Albert and Rose come up with one last publicity scheme: Conrad will give a “goodbye kiss” to one randomly selected member of his fan club on live TV. Conrad-Mania sweeps the town of Sweet Apple, Ohio as the three of them prepare for the show. but a scheming mother, a jealous boyfriend, and Albert’s own conflict avoidance threaten to bring the whole thing crashing down around them. Classic songs, including ‘Put on a Happy Face”, make Bye Bye Birdie a winner!
Bye Bye Birdie will be presented April 28 and 29 at 7:30pm, and April 30 at 2:30pm in the Menashe Gymnasium.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+) and kids (7-14). Kids 6 and under are free.
