“Bob Dowding Excellence Award” Winners
Congratulations to Sage Klein and Isaiah Dowding-Albrecht on being named the “Bob Dowding Excellence Award” winners. In addition to being recognized for their excellent service to their school and community, both Sage and Isaiah will receive a $500 scholarship from the SLHS Booster club to the school of their choice.
Sage has competed for Seattle Lutheran in volleyball, cheer, basketball and track. She has also served on the SLHS student leadership team as well as helped with multiple drama productions. For her senior project she supported and ministered to orphans in Mexico. Isaiah has played football, basketball, and baseball for the Saints. He has also been a member of the math club, drama productions, as well as served at Hope Lutheran Church working with young students during summer camps.
Both of these outstanding seniors have participated in their communities in so many ways all while maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or above. Sage and Isaiah are both fantastically qualified and deserving of the “Bob Dowding Excellence Award.” I know Mr. Dowding is in heaven, wholeheartedly nodding his head with approval.
