Homecoming – October 16, 2021

Additionally, one traditional high school experience that many of our students have not experienced is Homecoming. After seeing that COVID-19 rates have begun to decrease in our area, we decided to offer a Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 16, from 8 pm to 11 pm in the gym. We understand that this is short notice and students may have other events planned; we do not know what the future holds and so want to schedule this fun event while it’s possible to offer it safely.

• Guests: Students will be allowed to invite one guest from another school if desired. Guests must fill out a permission slip signed by an official from their high school AND show proof of vaccination at the door. Students can pick up a guest permission slip on the bookcase near the front office. Guests cannot attend the dance unless accompanied by the Seattle Lutheran student who invited them.
• COVID Safety Protocols: Students and adult chaperones must wear masks at all times except when temporarily eating or drinking. Students are encouraged to remain socially distanced. Guests are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
