Annual Fund
As its moniker suggests, an Annual Fund is an annual appeal to the school’s constituents for financial support to further the mission and work of the school. Revenues from tuition do not cover the actual cost of educating each student at SLHS. Previous support from founding churches which, in the past, covered the gap between tuition and actual costs have decreased considerably, thereby necessitating an Annual Fund at Seattle Lutheran High School.
Annual Fund gifts are unrestricted donations that enable the school to use the funds where they are most needed – academics, financial assistance, curriculum, or campus maintenance, to name a few.
What does your gift do for Seattle Lutheran High School?
It supports the talented teachers, small classes, and unique opportunities our students enjoy such as technology, fine arts, athletics, and personal faith development.
We pay tuition so why should I give to SLHS?
Your gift allows SLHS to deliver more than just classes to your student. Opportunities like community service, chapel, athletics, field trips, and guest speakers allow our students to grow academically, spiritually, emotionally and physically. These opportunities increase the school’s budget so we ask our parents, alumni, and friends to continue to support our program with annual fund gifts, endowments, special events like auctions, summer camps and reunions, along with planned gifts to ensure we continue to deliver an excellent education to all our students.
Additionally, a gift to the Annual Fund honors our teachers and contributes to the success of our students.
Please feel free to make a gift today; choose one of the following to support Seattle Lutheran High School: monthly gift, quarterly gift, or one time donation.
